We are excited to celebrate the collaborative spirit of our community, with the launch of a stunning new mural at Winmalee Village. This vibrant artwork was made possible through a unique partnership between local artist, Mandy Schöne-Salter aka MAN.De and the students of Winmalee Public School.

In a special community consultation session, students shared their observations of local wildlife, providing a unique and authentic perspective on the natural world. Their insights and enthusiasm inspired MAN.De to create a design that truly reflects the beauty and diversity of the Blue Mountains.

The result is a breathtaking mural that showcases the region’s incredible flora and fauna, from the majestic Waratah to the playful King Parrot. This community-created masterpiece is a testament to the power of collaboration and the importance of involving local voices in the creative process.

We are excited to showcase the school’s creative flair in a display in-centre, highlighting their observations of the local flora and fauna. You can visit the display from 17 March to 30 March 2025, located near The Reject Shop and Donut King.
